Food Service Field Specified Skilled Worker (ii) Proficiency Test and the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (N3 or higher)
Work experience
Applicants must have work experience performing work that includes engaging in customer service and working as an assistant in restaurant management (as an assistant manager, sub-manager, etc.) while instructing and supervising multiple part-time employees and foreign national Specified Skilled Workers at a restaurant that has obtained a business permit under the Food Sanitation Act. (This only applies to those for whom the period of time since completing the relevant work experience stipulated by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has not passed.)
