The purpose of the Specified Skilled Worker System Information Seminars is to explain the status of residence of Specified Skilled Worker for foreign nationals who want to work in Japan.
Attendees will be able to ask questions regarding the Specified Skilled Worker System.
Both people residing in Japan and people residing outside of Japan are able to attend.

Specified Skilled Worker System Information Seminars – Terms of Attendance

Article 1. Purpose of These Terms of Attendance

These Terms of Attendance apply to a person (hereinafter “Prospective Attendee”) who wishes to attend Specified Skilled Worker System Information Seminars (hereinafter, “Information Seminars”) conducted by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan, and they stipulate important terms related to the attendance of the Information Seminars.
Information Seminars are operated by Rhino Connect Inc. (hereinafter, “Rhino”) under contract for the Immigration Services Agency of Japan in connection with Information Seminars implementation duties for the purpose of promoting the Specified Skilled Worker System.

Article 2. Consent to These Terms of Attendance

In order to attend an Information Seminars, the Prospective Attendee must consent to these Terms of Attendance. Furthermore, by using the Specified Skilled Worker System Information Seminars Participation Application Form (hereinafter, “Web Form”) to apply for attendance, the Prospective Attendee consents to be bound by these Terms of Attendance.

Article 3. Applying for Attendance

A Prospective Attendee shall apply for attendance using the Web Form after consenting to these Terms of Attendance and the separately stipulated Privacy Policy.
Once Rhino has received the application for attendance, Rhino shall notify the Prospective Attendee regarding his/her attendance registration. At the time that notification is made, a contract pertaining to these Terms of Attendance shall be formed between Rhino and the Prospective Attendee.

Article 4. Prohibitions

The following acts are prohibited in connection with Information Seminars attendance.
1. Impersonating a third party
2. Soliciting personal information of other attendees or making any other requests
3. Intentionally interfering with the operation of the Information Seminars
4. Infringing on the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, reputation, or any other rights or interests of the Immigration Services Agency of Japan, Rhino, or any other third party
5. Engaging in any other acts that are deemed to violate laws and ordinances

Article 5. Exclusion of Liability

Rhino shall not be liable for any losses incurred by the Prospective Attendee in the event that the Information Seminars is cancelled, suspended, or postponed due to a natural disaster, fire, riot, or other reason beyond Rhino’s reasonable control.

Article 6. Copyrights

The modification, reproduction, falsification, or sale of any documents or other creative content used during the Information Seminars is prohibited. Copyrights to the documents and other creative content used during the Information Seminars are protected by the Universal Copyright Convention and Japanese Copyright Act.

Article 7. Governing Law and Court of Jurisdiction

1. These Terms of Attendance shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
2. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over all disputes arising between the Prospective Attendee and Rhino with respect to Information Seminars attendance and these Terms of Attendance.

Article 8. Changes to the Terms of Use

1. Rhino may, whenever it is deemed necessary, change these Terms of Use without prior notice to Users, subject to approval by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan. Any changes made to these Terms of Use shall be posted to the Web Form and shall be made public without delay.
2. The User shall check the Terms of Use each time he/she submits an application with the Web Form; and by submitting an application with the Web Form after the Terms of Use have been changed, the User consents to be bound by the revised Terms of Use.

Article 9. Other Matters

The Prospective Attendee agrees in advance that the Immigration Services Agency of Japan and/or Rhino may record video and take photographs of the Information Seminars while it is in progress, and that such video and photographs may be used by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan for publicity purposes on websites, social media accounts, and printed materials in connection with the Information Seminars and/or other activities conducted by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.

Article 10. Language

These Terms of Attendance are made in Japanese and translated into English. The Japanese text is the original and the English text is for reference purposes. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between these two texts, the Japanese text shall prevail.

Privacy Policy (Specified Skilled Worker System Information Seminars)

Rhino Connect Inc. and SKword Co., Ltd. shall handle personal information provided by others in the course of tasks related to conducting Information Seminars and operating the Information Seminars participation application form (hereinafter, “Operations”) under contract for the Immigration Services Agency of Japan in accordance with the provisions below.

Article 1. Definition of Personal Information

Personal information is defined as the name, nationality, status of residence, telephone number, email address, and other information received through these Operations that can identify a specific person.

Article 2. Provision of Personal Information

The provision of personal information is voluntary, but if a person does not provide the personal information required for his/her attendance, that person might not be able to attend the Information Seminars. Personal information will be used only within the scope stipulated in Article 3.

Article 3. Purposes of Use

Personal information shall be used only for the following purposes.
1. To conduct operations and tasks that are important for the Information Seminars
2. To respond to various inquiries and feedback related to the Information Seminars
3. To conduct surveys related to the Information Seminars and to gather and analyze results
4. To issue reports and compile statistics on the outcome, performance, and other aspects of the Information Seminars
5. To operate and maintain the Information Seminars participation application form

Article 4. Management of Personal Information

Personal information will be strictly managed by managers at Rhino Connect Inc. and SKword Co., Ltd., and necessary measures will be taken to prevent disclosure, misappropriation, and falsification.

Article 5. Requesting the Disclosure, Correction, or Suspension of Use of Personal Information

Requests for purpose of use notification, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, removal, or suspension of provision to third parties of personal information shall be handled after proper confirmation of the identity of the person making the request has taken place. Specified Skilled Worker System Information Seminars – Participation Application Form – Terms of Use

Article 1. Purpose of These Terms of Use

These Terms of Use stipulate important terms related to the information that must be submitted by a person (hereinafter, “User”) who wishes to participate in Specified Skilled Worker System Information Seminars (hereinafter, “Information Seminars”) conducted by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan to the Immigration Services Agency of Japan in order to apply to attend an Information Seminars, using the Specified Skilled Worker System Information Seminars Participation Application Form (hereinafter, “Web Form”).
This Web Form is operated by SKword Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “SKword”) under contract for the Immigration Services Agency of Japan as part of “website operation duties for the Support Website for the Specified Skilled Worker System for the purpose of promoting the Specified Skilled Worker System.

Article 2. Consent to the Terms of Use

In order to apply to attend an Information Seminars using the Web Form, the User must consent to these Terms of Use. Furthermore, by using the Web Form, the User consents to be bound by these Terms of Use.

Article 3. Privacy Policy

SKword shall protect and perform proper management of personal information obtained from the User through the Web Form in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the Privacy Policy stipulated separately. Additionally, any personal information so obtained shall not be used for any other purpose or provided to any third party except under the following circumstances.
1. Providing information to the Information Seminars organizer Recipient: Rhino Connect Inc. (the contractor performing “Information Seminars implementation services for the purpose of promoting the Specified Skilled Worker System” on behalf of the Immigration Services Agency of Japan) Purpose of sharing: To implement the Information Seminars Items to be shared: All information provided through the Web Form Method of sharing: Providing database access privileges
2. To accommodate legal requests

Article 4. Prohibitions

The following acts are prohibited in connection with the use of the Web Form.
1. Using the Web Form for any purpose other than applying for an Information Seminars
2. Providing false information
3. Infringing on the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, reputation, or any other rights or interests of the Immigration Services Agency of Japan or any other third party
4. Illicitly accessing the Web Form
5. Intentionally interfering with the management and operation of the Web Form
6. Engaging in any other acts that are deemed to violate laws and ordinances

Article 5. Exclusion of Liability

1. SKword shall not be liable for any losses incurred by the User or any losses caused by the User to a third party as a result of the User’s use of the Web Form.
2. SKword shall not be liable for any losses incurred by the User due to the suspension, discontinuation, or interruption of the operation of the Web Form.

Article 6. Copyrights

The modification, reproduction, falsification, or sale of the program code and other creative content contained in the Web Form is prohibited. Copyrights to the program code and other creative content contained in the Web Form are protected by the Universal Copyright Convention and Japanese Copyright Act.

Article 7. Governing Law and Court of Jurisdiction

Article 9. Termination of Service

Services related to the Web Form shall terminate once the Secretariat stops accepting applications for Information Seminars attendance.
