Skill level
In order to meet the required skill level, applicants must pass the tests in one of the following test categories.
- Examination Evaluation Category 2 Specified Technical Skills for Manufacturing Sectors and Level 3 of the Business Career Test
- Level 1 of the skill exam

Work experience
Applicants must have work experience in manufacturing at a company with facilities in Japan.
